To replace the key shell of the Hyundai i30, take the remote and open it by prying along the seam with a small flat screwdriver. If present, first remove the mechanical emergency key. Once the shell is open, carefully extract the electronic board and transponder, taking care not to damage them.

Move these components into the new shell, positioning them the same way they were mounted in the old one. Also insert the key blade if it is removable or transfer it to the new holder. After placing all components, close the shell by pressing the two halves together until they click.

Finally, check that the buttons work correctly and that the car opens and closes without issues.
