Removing the Handle on Elantra

Want to remove the door handle? Here’s how to take off the external handle from a Hyundai Elantra door. Open the door, remove any cover caps, and unscrew the screw located at the side of the door with a screwdriver: remove the left or right cover of the handle (key cylinder), then slide the handle out to remove it. Prepare to fit the new external handle, then secure the handle, followed by the side cover. Screw in the handle screw to complete the installation. Don’t forget to install the cylinder and the screw cover cap.
