This guide shows how to replace the remote key shell for the Hyundai i10. To perform this operation, you can use a circlip pliers, which opens the arms by pressing the levers, or a screwdriver. Insert the tip of the pliers into the gap created at the opening of the key blade, applying force to separate the two parts of the remote. Remove the electronic circuit and the white plastic cover on the back of the remote and extract the clip underneath. Detach the key blade from the old spring mechanism. Open the new remote and install the clip removed from the old device. Install the electronic circuit and insert the blade into the new spring mechanism. Close the remote and check that it functions correctly.
