Replacing the timing belt of your Hyundai iX35 is an operation that requires particular attention but can also be perfectly carried out independently. Just follow what is described in this new mini guide. Before proceeding, turn off the car completely and lift it with a suitable hydraulic jack. Remove the right front wheel and you are ready to start the actual procedure. Raise the front hood and locate the timing belt. Unscrew the tension bolt by turning it counter-clockwise and remove the belt. At this point insert the new belt and screw the bolt back by turning it clockwise.
