How to Use the Hyundai Mobility Kit

Let's see how to use the Hyundai mobility kit, common to many vehicles of the brand. It temporarily repairs small punctures in the tread by injecting sealant and pumping air. It does not work on large punctures, cuts, or sidewall damage.

To use it, shake the sealant bottle well and screw the hose onto the bottle, then connect it to the compressor; unscrew the valve cap of the punctured tyre and screw the other end of the kit onto the valve; connect the compressor to the car's 12V socket and start the engine.

Turn on the compressor and let it run for 5-7 minutes, after which the pressure gauge should indicate at least 2.0 bar. If the pressure does not hold or is not reached, call for assistance, as the puncture is too large.

If it is fine, turn everything off and disconnect, then drive for 10-15 minutes at a speed between 12 and 50 mph to distribute the sealant well. Stop and connect the compressor without the bottle to inflate the tyre to the recommended value (the values are on a sticker located on the driver's door pillar).

Remember that this is an emergency repair, allowing you to drive only to a tyre shop for a permanent repair.
