After changing the engine oil on the Hyundai Veloster, you need to reset the system that indicates when to perform this operation. Sit in the driver's seat, turn on the instrument cluster, and using the 'trip' lever on the right side of the steering wheel, bring up the message related to the engine oil reset on the central display.

Press the 'reset' button; the display will show 'Oil service message'. Press 'trip' until the reset message appears, press the 'reset' button again, and turn off the ignition. On the next restart, you will have confirmation that the reset was successful.
