How to Remove the Airbag and Steering Wheel from a Hyundai Veloster

How do you remove the airbag and steering wheel from a Hyundai Veloster? Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. To proceed with the disassembly: remove the inspection caps at the back of the steering wheel (if present), then unscrew the fastening screws of the steering wheel cover (where the airbag is located) using a socket or screwdriver. Once the airbag (driver's side) is released, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the large steering wheel fastening bolt. For reassembly: connect the power connectors (after fitting the steering wheel), then press down on the steering wheel with your hands while simultaneously tightening the rear bolts.
