Today, you will learn how to pour oil into the reservoir to top it up when the oil warning light comes on. To perform this operation on a 2010 Hyundai IX35, open the front bonnet and wait 10 minutes after turning off the engine. Using the dipstick, check if the oil level is closer to the minimum or maximum; then unscrew the oil reservoir cap and pour in the required amount of oil. After topping up, you may need to reset the oil warning light.

If the light continues to flash, it may be necessary to check the operation of the oil reservoir sensors or perform an oil change.
