How to Change the Engine Oil in a Hyundai IX35

To replace the engine oil in a Hyundai IX35, it is advisable to bring the engine to operating temperature, then switch it off and safely lift the vehicle. After unscrewing the oil filler cap, place a container under the sump and remove the drain plug, allowing the used oil to drain completely. Once draining is finished, reinstall the drain plug with the corresponding gasket and proceed to replace the oil filter, lubricating the replacement gasket with a thin film of new oil before fitting. Next, pour the amount of oil specified by the manufacturer into the engine, start the engine for a few seconds, and check for leaks from the drain plug or filter. Finally, check the oil level with the dipstick and, if necessary, top up until the correct level is reached.
