How to replace engine oil and filter on a Hyundai IX35 petrol

In this video we can see how to change oil and filter on a Hyundai IX35 petrol: It is advisable to open the oil tank cap, then we will lift the car, which has an effective splash guard cover on the front. We remove a cap, specifically designed to access the oil filter, while from another hole we can access the oil pan drain plug. We will need a 17mm wrench to unscrew it, while we will need a special tool to unscrew the filter. In any case, we will also need a container for the waste oil (which we will then dispose of at an authorized center). We will grease the gasket of the new filter with some new oil and then we will put it in place, of course after thoroughly cleaning any residues of old oil. We can put back the cover to close the inspection cap. Now, all the waste oil will have drained. We put the new plug and gasket (also greased with new oil) and lower the car to refill with new and clean 5W30 oil, according to the manufacturer's instructions; we fill up to 90% and then check the dipstick, topping up accordingly.
