How do you replace the engine oil and filter on a Hyundai IX35? It's a simple operation if you follow the correct steps. Lift the car using a column lift or jack, and remove the cover panel (if available). Use a socket spanner to undo the oil sump bolt, allowing the fluid to drain into a disposal container. Refit the oil sump bolt and the oil filter. Remove the oil filter using a chain tool (fit the new filter). Lower the car and open the bonnet, securing it. Finally, top up with new oil. Measure the oil level multiple times with the metal dipstick until you reach the ideal level.
