Replacing the key battery of the new Hyundai Ioniq 5 takes just a few seconds and can be done by anyone independently. First, locate the button on the back of the cover and press it. At the same time, pull out the physical emergency key. Next, insert the tip of the emergency key into the slot of the key and open it. Remove the old battery and proceed with the replacement. Finally, reassemble the cover and insert the emergency key back into its place.
