How to Adjust the Handbrake on the Hyundai Atos?

To adjust the handbrake on the Hyundai Atos, first loosen the screws securing the plastic cover at the rear of the lever so that it can be removed. Once the cover is off, locate the handbrake wiring underneath, which needs adjustment by turning the bolt. Tightening the bolt makes the handbrake stiffer and reduces its travel; conversely, loosening the bolt makes it lighter and increases its travel. After adjustment, replace the cover.
