Removing the Gear Lever Gaiter on the Hyundai Atos

Model: Hyundai Atos MK 2 - Years 2011-2022

If the gear gaiter on the Hyundai Atos has worn out from use, we will replace it with a new one. Start by unscrewing the five screws that secure the centre tunnel where the gearbox and handbrake are located. Proceed by unscrewing the gear knob; at this point, you can slide off the centre tunnel and turn it upside down. This will give you access to the base of the gaiter, which is secured by four screws that you will unscrew, allowing you to remove it from its housing. Remove the metal clips that attach the faux leather to the base, which you will reuse to fit the new gaiter. Once secured, reassemble everything by reversing the previous steps.
