How to Replace the Key Battery on a Jaguar XJ

In this video, you will see how to replace the battery in the key of a Jaguar XJ. The materials needed for the replacement are: a CR 2032 battery and a flathead screwdriver. Turn the key over and insert the tip of the screwdriver into the slot to separate the two parts of the key; if you look from one side, you will see a small notch. Insert the screwdriver tip and gently lever it; at this point, using your fingers, apply slight pressure to separate the two parts. Upon opening the casing, you will see a circuit board; on this board, if you look closely, you will see a small screw that needs to be removed with a small crosshead screwdriver. Once the board is removed, you will find the battery; replace the battery and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
