Replacing the battery of the key/remote control for the Jaguar F Type is a very simple operation that will only take a few minutes of your time. The first thing to do is to remove the metal side part, where the emergency key is stored. Once the metal key is removed, lift the small lever, as shown in the video, and insert it into the appropriate slot. The second thing to do is to rotate the key inside the slot so that the remote control can open. Remove the old battery and insert a new one. Close the remote control and reposition the metal key.
