Replacing the battery of the key/remote for the Jaguar F Type is a very simple operation that will take only a few minutes of your time. The first step is to remove the metal side part, where the emergency key is stored. Once the metal key is removed, lift the small lever as shown in the video and insert it into the designated slot. The second step is to rotate the key within the slot so that the remote can open. Remove the battery and insert a new one. Close the remote and reposition the metal key.
