When the key fob of a vehicle stops working, accessing the vehicle and starting it becomes a problem. For this reason, modern vehicles have an emergency metal key inside the key fob. To access the Jeep Renegade and start it, remove the top part of the key fob and extract the emergency metal key. Remove the lock cover and insert the key to open the front door.

To start the vehicle, you can insert the key into the ignition or place the emergency key inside the fob and position the fob very close to the ignition switch.
