Jeep Cherokee - Video tutorial
Model: Jeep Cherokee
KJ, MK 3
- Years 2002-2007 Let's get ready to replace the timing belt on a Jeep Cherokee. We lift the front hood where the engine is and the panel that covers the same. Once these operations have been carried out, remove the belt cover (remove the sensor if present). With a suitable fixed wrench we loosen the belt tensioners and remove the belt from its seat. After having mounted the new belt, with a fixed wrench we go to assemble the belt tensioner roller, we stretch until we have the right tension of the belt (we assemble the two belts). Finally we check the belt tensioner and the belt itself, we tighten everything with the socket wrench.
