Replacing the Timing Belt on a Jeep Cherokee

Prepare to replace the timing belt on a Jeep Cherokee. Lift the front bonnet to access the engine and the panel covering it. Once these operations are complete, remove the belt cover (detach the sensor if present). Using a suitable spanner, loosen the tensioners and slide the belt off its seat. After fitting the new belt, use the spanner to install the tensioner, ensuring the belt is tensioned correctly (fit both belts). Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket spanner.
