How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Jeep Cherokee?

To replace the timing belt on a Jeep Cherokee, open the bonnet to detach the cover from the top of the engine bay. Once removed, you need to take off the air filter box located to the left of the engine block: this will provide access to the pulleys around which the belt is situated. The belt can be removed by loosening the tensioner pulley; this will allow you to fit the new belt around the pulleys and reassemble all the other components that were removed.
