Organising the Electrical System in the Engine Bay

To organise the electrical system within the engine bay, good knowledge of general electronics is required, as well as the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams. It is also important to have good manual dexterity with various tools to ensure that wires, connectors, terminals, etc., are connected properly. With that said, gather all the new sockets and corresponding terminals, as well as rolls of wire of the correct gauge and conduit to collect and organise the wiring within the engine bay. Be patient when replacing all damaged wiring sections and their respective sockets, paying particular attention to the various connections and their insulation, using heat shrink tubing and/or insulating tape.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
