How to Disable Start&Stop on Jeep Cherokee

Model: Jeep Cherokee KL, MK 5 - Years 2013-2023

In this video tutorial, you will learn an effective method to permanently disable the start&stop system on a Jeep Cherokee from 2013 to 2020, as well as on other models from the manufacturer. To disable the system, open the bonnet; then simply disconnect the electrical connector found on the negative terminal of the battery (as well as the start&stop sensor), as illustrated in the video. At this point, get inside the vehicle and start the engine to check that the system has been correctly disabled; reconnect the connector to the negative terminal to reactivate start&stop.
