How to Disable the Start&Stop System on a Jeep Cherokee

To disable the Start&Stop system on a Jeep Cherokee, press the dedicated button located on the centre console of the vehicle. Pressing this button will temporarily deactivate the system; to completely disable it, open the bonnet to access the area between the battery and the fuse box. Here, there will be a connector that needs to be disconnected: this will allow you to go inside the cabin to turn on the ignition and check that the Start&Stop system has been successfully disabled.
