Oil Filter Replacement on Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

To replace the oil filter on a Jeep Renegade, follow these steps. Lift the car on a jack and undo the bolt of the oil sump; let the fluid drain into a container. Use a strap wrench to unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located. Open the car's door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Refill the engine with new oil. Lower and close the front bonnet. Start the car.
