Replacing the Mirror Glass on a Jeep Grand Cherokee

To remove and replace the glass of your external mirror, you need to use a plastic wedge. With this tool, you can lever in the gap between the glass and the housing to detach it from the rear clips. Perform this operation patiently and slowly to avoid breaking the clips of the housing, which you would then need to replace. Once the mirror is removed, disconnect the heating connector and the positioning connector, then proceed with fitting the new glass: connect the wires and simply clip it back in place by pressing with your hand.
