How to Reset the Service Light on the Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

If you have replaced the engine oil and the corresponding filter on this vehicle as per the service schedule, you can and must reset the service light that has illuminated on the instrument cluster. To do this, follow the simple instructions provided in this description and refer to the video as well. First, access the cabin and sit in the driver's seat to turn on the ignition. Then, press the accelerator pedal fully three times within 30 seconds while keeping the brake pedal pressed. Turn off the ignition. Release the brake pedal. Wait a few minutes before turning the ignition back on to check if the reset has been successful.
