How to Quickly Repair the Seatbelt Clip in a Jeep Patriot

Model: Jeep Patriot MK 1 - Years 2007-2017

If the seatbelt clip no longer functions optimally or is completely stuck, do not worry as you can easily repair it yourself. There is no need for an expert mechanic; just follow these instructions. Before you begin, ensure the engine is off for safety. Once done, remove the broken clip by unscrewing the appropriate screw. Take a small flat screwdriver and insert the head between the metal tab of the clip and its plastic cover. Apply a slight lever to separate the two parts. At this point, the entire mechanism is free and operational again.
