What to do if the sunroof on a Jeep Renegade doesn't work

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

In this video, we see that the sunroof operation on a Jeep Renegade is straightforward, as it is simply controlled by a button located just in front of the rear-view mirror: to open, press for 30 seconds, and do the same to close. If something isn't working, the first thing to check is the fuses, which are located in the cabin, between the steering wheel and the driver's door, specifically fuse F49. If the fuse is blown, it indicates a short circuit somewhere, so check the wiring. Ensure to lubricate the rails and everything that moves to prevent any jams. Now, the sunroof opens and closes as expected.
