Let the old oil drain completely, making sure all the liquid is collected in the container. Then, securely screw the drain plug back in, checking for any leaks. Proceed with adding new oil, using a funnel to avoid spills, and check the level with the dipstick or indicator. Start the engine for a few seconds, turn it off, and recheck the level, topping up if necessary.
