In order to replace the rear shock absorber of the Kawasaki KLR 650, you need to loosen the screws that secure the component to its housing: this will be fixed by two screws located at the bottom and top of the piece. Once these two screws have been removed, you can slide the component out of its housing located between the rear swingarm and the corresponding fender: at this point, you can insert the new shock absorber, so that it can be fixed with screws at the bottom and top.
