In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the engine oil in the Kawasaki KLR 650, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, let's make sure that the engine is cool enough.

Then, we remove the lower cover and place a container underneath the bike. Next, we locate the drain hole bolt, unscrew it using a 17mm socket wrench, and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point, all that's left is to open the filter cap with an 8mm wrench, insert the replacement, reassemble everything, and add the necessary amount of oil through the designated upper hole.
