On this type of vehicle, the maintenance light comes on every 100 hours of use. To turn it off, switch off the vehicle and remove the key from the ignition, then remove the seat to access the area underneath. You will find two two-pin connectors, one grey and one black, under the seat, near the fuel tank. Disconnect both from their sockets. Take the black connector and insert it into the grey socket; take the grey connector and insert it into the black socket. Now, with the connectors crossed, insert the key and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Keep the ignition on for 8 seconds, then turn it off and remove the key. Now return to the connectors and restore the original connection. Refit the seat and turn on the ignition normally; the belt light should now be off.
