To change the engine oil on the Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S, loosen the bolt located at the central lower part of the bike, allowing the used oil to drain completely into a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug, you will find the oil filter, which must be removed from its housing by unscrewing it and replaced with a new one. Once the new filter is in place, top up the oil through the designated hole on the right side of the bike, just above the exhaust.
