Heat the engine oil for a few minutes, otherwise it will be too thick and will not be able to drain from the bike. Then turn on the engine for a few minutes, obviously without exaggerating otherwise you will not be able to work. The oil change consists of an extremely simple procedure: just unscrew the screw that plugs the upper filling hole and then the one that plugs the drain hole under the bike. Why is the loading hole unscrewed first? To allow the circulation of air inside the tank, avoiding the vacuum. Close the lower hole and load the quantity of oil poured from the filling hole.

How do you replace the air filter of the KTM 1290 Super Adventure?

In order to replace the air filter of the KTM 1290 Super Adventure, you need to completely remove the storage compartment box located between the handlebars and the fuel tank. Once this compartment box has been removed, you can loosen the screws underneath and proceed to remove the cover of the air filter box. The air filter can now be extracted from its housing and replaced with a new one; the new filter can now be secured by reinserting the cover of the box and the storage compartment box, ensuring that everything is functioning properly.
