How to open the fuel door stuck in the KIA Optima?

In the KIA Optima, it is possible for the fuel door to become stuck, for example due to a malfunction in the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, we can perform an emergency opening of the fuel door by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, we unlock the doors using the remote control, then we open the trunk and locate the cord on the left wall, about halfway up. We then pull the cord towards us to unlock the door, manually open the fuel door, and refuel.
