The service light on the 2013 Kia Sportage can be turned off in the following way: with the instrument panel on, use the arrow buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to access the menu and scroll through the listed options, choosing Service Interval.

Now all that's left to do is to hold down the Ok button and after a few seconds the anomaly will turn off.
