How to Reset the Service Light on a Kia Sportage

To reset the service light on a Kia Sportage, turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Using the buttons on the steering wheel, access the User or Settings menu, then select the Maintenance Interval option. Now choose the Reset option and confirm the operation by holding the OK button for a few seconds. Once completed, the system resets the maintenance counter and stores the new service interval. Finally, turn off and then back on the instrument cluster to verify that the service light has been correctly reset and that the service reminder no longer appears.
