How to Reset the Service Light on a Kia Sportage

To reset the service light on a Kia Sportage, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to access the onboard computer menu displayed on the screen.

Scroll to the section dedicated to maintenance or service. Select the reset option for the maintenance interval and hold down the confirmation button for a few seconds until the system registers the reset.

After confirmation, exit the menu and switch off the ignition. Turn the ignition back on to check that the service light has been cleared.
