Resetting the service light on the Kia Sportage takes just a few minutes. To reset the light, turn on the ignition and press the MENU button located on the right side of the steering wheel. To access the service settings, repeatedly press the button until you see the "SERVICE" option and then "MAINTENANCE INTERVAL". Set the kilometres for the next service and return to the main menu by pressing the back button. Throughout the procedure, it is important that all vehicle doors are closed and the engine is off. If the reset fails, it will be necessary to visit a workshop for a computerised diagnosis.
