How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter in the Kia Sorento

The cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment, which must be fully opened. Disconnect the damper on the right side (or pull down the two tabs on both sides). This will allow the glove compartment to lower completely, revealing a rectangular cover held in place by clips. Remove the clips, and behind them, you will find the cabin filter. Take it out, clean the compartment well, and insert the new filter in the same orientation as the one you just removed. Close the flap and put the glove compartment back in place.
