How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on the Kia Sportage

Today, you will learn how to replace the key fob battery on the Kia Sportage. Press the side button to extract the metal key contained within the fob. To access the inside of the fob and replace the battery, insert the emergency key into the top hole and apply slight pressure. Replace the battery and close the fob cover. Reinsert the top part of the fob, positioning the emergency key inside. Complete the replacement by testing the fob's functionality; if it does not work, you will need to reprogram the fob.
