In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the remote battery in a KIA Sportage, a very simple and quick operation. You will need a small flathead screwdriver, a crosshead screwdriver, and a replacement CR2032 battery.

First, extend the metal key, then pry along the indicated slot to unlock the rear cover. Next, unscrew the four screws that have just been freed, open the cover, and remove the old battery.

At this point, simply insert the replacement, ensuring the correct polarity, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
