In this video, we will see how to replace the battery in the Kia Sportage MK 4: first, we need to remove the air filter duct. There are a couple of push caps that can be removed with a flat-head screwdriver.

Underneath, we find the battery, and on the positive terminal, there is a cover with a tab containing two bolts. First, remove the negative terminal, then take off the bolts from the positive terminal, and then remove the 12 mm bolt that holds the battery's safety bracket; remove the surrounding cover, and now we can take it out. Insert the new battery and position it correctly against the lower lip. Clean the positive and negative cables well with a special tool that can be found under code B0BLH319Z9 on Amazon: it costs £6.99, but there are £18.49 in import fees to Italy.

Refit the cover and its safety bolt, applying some anti-seize, reconnect the terminals, spray with an anti-corrosive, refit the air filter, and the job is done.
