Kia Sportage - Video tutorial

Model: Kia Sportage MK 4, QL - Years 2016-2022
Part: Battery
Operation: How to replace the battery of the Kia Sportage

In this video we see how to replace the battery of the Kia Sportage MK 4 version: first we need to remove the air filter duct. There are a couple of button caps that are removed with a flat-head screwdriver. Underneath we find the battery and on the positive side there is a cover with a tab with two bolts inside. We first remove the negative pole, then remove the bolts from the positive side, and then remove the 12 bolt that holds the battery safety bracket; remove the surrounding cover and now we can remove it. Insert the new battery and position it correctly in line with the lower lip. Clean the positive and negative cables well, with a specific tool that we can find with the code B0BLH319Z9 on Amazon: it costs $6.99, but there are $18.49 import fees in Italy. Put back the cover and its safety bolt, putting a little anti-seize on top, reconnect the poles, spray some anti-corrosion on top, put back the air filter and the job is done.

After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display.
