How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on a 2012 Kia Sportage

To replace the cabin air filter on a 2012 Kia Sportage, the filter is located behind the glove compartment. Open the glove compartment and detach the damper arm. Remove the two side clips from the compartment. Lower the glove compartment and detach and remove the filter housing cover. Extract the old filter and clean the inside of the housing from any debris. Insert the new filter into the housing with the arrow indicating the airflow direction pointing downwards. Reinstall the housing cover. Reattach the clips by rotating them to the right. Lift the glove compartment and reconnect the damper arm.
