The trim around the radio in the Kia Sportage is set back compared to the dashboard trim, so the first step is to remove these. Start by opening the caps located beside the climate control buttons to unscrew the fixing screws and then detach the central dashboard trims that also frame the instrument cluster; at this point, you can remove the fixing screws of the trim covering the radio and then those securing the radio itself, which can then be extracted from its location.
