Opening the bonnet of the Kia Picanto is a straightforward task, similar to many other cars in its category. Once the car is parked on a level surface and has cooled for about half an hour, proceed. Locate the lever at the bottom of the driver's footwell. Pull it towards you to release the bonnet. Now step outside and open the bonnet by pressing the metal lever located inside. Once lifted, place the prop rod in the bonnet support to keep it open.

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer.
