How to Deactivate the Passenger Airbag on a Kia Rio?

To deactivate the front passenger airbag on a Kia Rio, open the front passenger door to locate the switch on the right side of the dashboard. Insert the ignition key into this switch, which can be turned to activate or deactivate the airbag: moving the switch to ON will activate the airbag, while moving it to OFF will deactivate it. Once the airbag is set according to your needs, you can start the engine to verify that the change has been recorded.
