Open and lift the boot lid to access the screws along the edge of the boot lid, specifically at the same height as the light. The task is to unscrew the screws to release the light.

Once unscrewed, you can pull the light from its position and disconnect the connector at the back. Now you can work more comfortably on the light and carry out the necessary replacements.
