Resetting the service light on the Kia Sportage MK5.

Having replaced the engine oil and the related filter of the Kia Sportage, we need to reset the system that reminds us to perform this operation by displaying a reminder on the instrument panel. Sitting in the driver's seat, we turn on the instrumentation, starting from the main menu, on the display in the center of the dashboard we select Setup and then Vehicle. From here we select "Convenience", within this screen we choose Oil Change Reminder, click on Reset and confirm Yes in the following options, wait a few seconds and the reset confirmation message will appear.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
