In order to disassemble the engine of the KTM SX-F 250, you need to loosen the screws that secure the block to the respective frame supports, then proceed to disconnect the sensors' connectors and remove the intake and exhaust ducts. Once the engine block is freed, you will need to unscrew the screws that secure the cylinder, remove it from the top, and remove the pin that secures the piston to the connecting rod. The connecting rod can now be removed from the crankshaft by removing the appropriate nuts and opening the two halves of the crankcase: this way you can access the internal components.
