First, to replace the sprocket oil seal on the KTM EXC SX, stabilise the bike in a safe position so you can work on it. Start by loosening the rear wheel nut/bolt with the appropriate spanner and closing the adjusters. Remove the chain. Now, lay the bike on its right side on the ground. Next, remove the sprocket cover, the sprocket, the chain, and the swingarm guard. Remove the oil seal bush. Clean and degrease the parts that need to be reassembled and proceed with replacing the parts related to the sprocket oil seal. The reassembly must be done following the same steps as disassembly but in reverse order. Pay attention to install the bush with the chamfered face facing inwards.
